Who are the powers at be that continue to employ Lindsay Lohan in the movie industry? I recently read a terrible blog that praises her performance in the movie machete. Based on what I read about the movie, she is really playing a character that is herself. I mean how hard is it to play a slut bag drug addict, isn’t that why she went to rehab several times. Another thing I don’t understand, is why do magazines continue to do articles on her for the public to read. Why is the industry constantly contining to jam her down the public’s throat. Most of the time, when someone in hollywood messes up the vanish in thin air, why can’t they do this with lindsay? I’m pretty sure that the public doesn’t care about her anymore.

I’m in the industry that you mentioned above, and really I don’t think you know anything about it, so lets not discuss that. In terms of your hate on for lindsay lohan, join the club. Lots of people don’t like her, but apparently someone in the industry (I had to mention it once) does like her so suck it up. You are part of a world that buys in the product. I recommend you move on and just don’t watch her movies. I know your annoyed she makes more money than you but its called the social chain of human surival. Go grab some booze and try to think of things you are happy about. I know it seems tough but try.

Dear Chelsea, 

I have hyper pigmentation on my upper lip. It appears that the brown marks have gone away but now I have a dark shadow that some would say is a 5’o clock shadow. It really shows up when I’m in florescent lighting, and I’m so embarrassed. I tried everything but nothing seems to be working.  Do you have any suggestions? Any makeup tips? Really….that’s pretty disgusting……I don’t have time to answer your question. I’m far too busy in my life as an entertainer to bother with someone who has no value in furthering my career or fuel my comedy jokes. Actually, now that I think of it I could use this question as a source of jokes as part of my show. I understand this is a serious issue for women but at the end of the day spend the money and get it fixed. You only have one face and therefore get a loan. No one likes a chick that looks like they have a moustache. Till then I recommend you drink some vodka and find some ugly guy to waste your time with to keep the self esteem up.

I wasn’t even sure how it happened but when it appeared I was shocked and disgusted. It took days for me to even wonder outside, and as it got worse my confidence dipped to lows that not even I would ever have thought I would feel this way to myself.

From a recent visit to the dermatolgist office he contended that I had a chemical reaction to a hair removal system that I used on my upperlip. Of course I was confused as I have been using this method for years to remove hair from my upper lip. Regardless, apparently this time when I used it, and it took away a lot more than my hair, it took away my pride in myself. I asked him how long it will take for it to go away and he said in should be a couple months. When he said that I wanted to cry. In addition, he didn’t think I needed any treatments as apparently my pigmentation isn’t that bad. Regardless of the condition, when something like this happens to a women her whole world is tossed upside down like salad. 

Don’t dispair ladies, if you are confronted with this condition, there is hope. Depending on the hyperpigmentation is will go away, often it is the result of birth control pills, being pregnant or hormonal. At first I thought it was the result of my hormonal medication I am taking because I have hypothyroidism but the dermatolgist contended that it is not. Often hyperpigmentation is from a hormonal discorder that has NOT been diagnosed, or an overactive thyroid which is hyperthyroidism. If it is an internal problem then this is what needs to be fixed first and then hyperpigmentation should eventually go away after treatment.

If it is the result of a chemical reaction (like mine) or over exposure to the sun, this too will go away but time as well as the right topical applications play an important role. There is alot of items on the market but be aware that when you start applying these products to your problem area you could actual make it worse. Although it is difficult sometimes “less is more”. We all want beautiful skin and would do anything to get it that way but you have to be smart. If you try and speed up the process, you could indirectly cause more damage resutling in the hyperpigmentation to get worse, thus it is vital to do your research before jumping on board the latest craze for claiming to remove your dark spots.

Depending on the seriousness of your dark spot, start with your cleasning ritual in the morning and night. Alpha hydroxy is an excellent means of slowly getting rid of your pigmentation. I am currently using ASAP, an australian company product line. It has worked wonders, thus I will continue to use it. Another recommended brand is Neostrata, whom has recieved wonderful reviews for their foaming fase wash 20 and their lightening gel.

I got hyperpigmentation approximately in late June, thus it has almost been two months. Currently, I no longer have dark spots on my upper lip, however I have a shadow that is driving me insane. It is slighlty obvious when an individual is staying directly at me while I am in a shadow area or in close proxmity, thus I can’t avoid talking to people one on one. As it is only two months and it does appear to be getting better, I am hoping that the products I am using will continue to work and take this shadow of doom away!

There is other treatments available, such as lasers and microdermabrasion however results are mixed. Whatever you do avoid going to spa clinic’s or treatment spa centres. Always go to a professional such as a dermatolgist! Don’t mess with your fase ladies to save money or because you are impatient and want result now, always seek professional advise first and proceed with caution! Ignorance is not bless when it comes to be knowlegable about how you are going to be proactive in her appearance.

Apparently, once hyperpigmentation sinks its nasty jaws into your skin, it could easily emerge again if you don’t protect yourself. The number one way is to stay out of the sun. Even if your pigmentation is not the result of the sun you must always be aware that it could directly play a role in you getting it again. If your going to go out in the sun (like me) then wear sunscreen. I am currently using invisible zinc plus spf 30. I’m not taking any chances for this to reappear again. In addtion, the sad reality is that once you have hyperpigmentation you must always continue to use such products that took it away.

Remember, we really are our hardest judges. when you look into the mirror and stare at your dark spots and feel like crying, it probably not as bad as you think. Like you, I feel terrible and when I left the house all I could see when I talked to people is that they were staring at my upper lip. Of course, now, even if they are, who cares! I am far too much of a lovely individual to get caught up in what others think of me. If its that much of a concern, then play up your eyes and remember “smile” people are more likely to remember you as happy rather then the girl who looked scared and had gross shit on her upperlip.

To be honest, I am quite over Lindsay Lohan. I don’t understand why shows such as entertainment tonight, access Hollywood, extra etc, continue to cover stories on her. She hasn’t acted since “Georgia Rules”, which sealed her faith as to never get hired again as an actress. Since then, her down whirl spiral from the world of Hollywood has been difficult to digest and not vomit. We have watched her turn from a young inspiring actress with a huge career in front of her, to a laughing joke, and finally her present state which is really just sad. I feel pity for her, and frankly, for the media to continue its coverage on her is just feeding the problem. Its time to just stop providing the public with coverage on her, as she depends on this attention in order to continue to work on public appearances at night clubs. Once people stop caring, the night clubs will stop paying her to show up to its clubs. Perhaps this will give her a chance to become the person she is truly meant to be….which is not an actress, not a partier, not a fashion designer but something other than what she is currently doing….which is nothing.

Frankly, he is boring to watch and I keep waiting for his voice to change mid song, as he obviously hasn’t hit puberty yet. It’s apparent that the tweens have control of voting, as he is still competing.

I hope that this Justin Bieber look alike gets voted out next week. I’m all about chances, and I love cheering for the underdog but only when the talent is out of this world unstoppable. I truly think he has a lovely voice and appears to be a nice boy, but he will never survive in the music industry successfully. He lacks a strong personality and his looks aren’t spectacular. Most importantly his voice isn’t a strong sale in the music market (however if he looked like Britney spears……). Overall, I believe we are wasting our time in keeping him in the competition and allowing others that are obviously more talented than him go. Stop your children from voting, they really have no idea about the concept of what the meaning of bigger picture means.   

 Word of advice: Listen Aaron, give yourself a couple years to fill out, clear your skin as well as grow some inches and then join Broadway. I think you’ll do well in that department, but please save the rest of humanity and don’t attempt to sell albums or be on T.V ever again.

Where did Lee come from? I don’t remember him at all when the show began, and then all of a sudden three weeks ago, he appeared on stage and blow me away with his vocals. As a result, all of a sudden, I was quickly in awe of his attractability. I was like “who is this cute guy that can really sing”  I now believe that he has staying power in this television show. In terms of long term staying power in the entertainment industry, that’s another opinion. Although Lee is talented and super cute, he lacks self confidence and in an industry that constantly tests out your self esteem, I’m not sure if he could survive the attacks. Also, since he is such a nice guy, I don’t know if he could learn to make contacts with stuck up ass wipes, as we all know its not talent that gets you anywhere in the entertainment industry its who you know. Look at Taylor Swift…..

Siobhan my little earth soul sister. I call her the screamer ! She is truly a treat and love her in this show. Its hard to predict what the future holds for her but I hope its all good. She has a good soul, but she is a bit strange…I`m not sure if she has the social skills to make it. In addtion, she is too honest and good. Society tends to support dramatic, psychotic types like Britney Spears.  

Regardless, it will be interesting to see what happens to the top four (really the top six) after the cameras stop rolling, because that’s when we see the real stars or the real winner of American idol emerge.

Does Kate Gosselin have two left feet? How the hell is she still dancing on “Dancing with the Stars”? Its because of her crazy ASS fans that continue to vote for her. I understand that they love Kate and want her to be successful in all her endeavours but why torture the rest of America (and Canada) in letting her continue on a program that is geared towards narrowing down to the best celebrity dancer. Clearly she’s not part of this narrowing process but if enough crazy Kate fans continue to push her through, the sane majority will have to suffer!

Please stop the silly women (and perhaps men…) from voting! Take away the phones on nights that “dancing with the stars’ is on. Stage a storm, or lie and say that the electricity is out, thus you can’t watch TV. Worse case scenario, she watches it and wants to vote. Look her in the face, smile and say honey “Can you believe that Jon is trying to get custody of the kids”? This should distract her and get her focused on taking about it with you. Go to your happy place. Just remember to nod and pretend to pay attention by looking her in the eyes as well as asking questions (you have to be partially listening to ask good questions, sorry about that).

However, if you’re married to a Kate fan, perhaps your just as crazy……

Inspired by the book, I decided to get my butt in gear and start small. To be fair, it was a smart move to get Rob out now, as he clearly is one of the strongest players, thus a threat on tribal council as well as a possible winner at the end of the game. I can’t wait for next week, when coach realizes the mistake he made when his flame is distinguished out…..Kudos to Russell in the ultimate trick on Coach as well as getting Rob out, who in my opinion was his biggest thread. I truly believe that if coach didn’t fuck this up, we would be having a different outcome to this game. However the winner perhaps would have been the same (wink).

In terms of Jerri, she is silent now but is making interesting moves (even if I think that her latest was ridiculous). I’m shocked to discover how long she will last in this game as I’ve never really understood nor liked the way she played the game. To be honest, I never really observed strong skills as a player in the game. Therefore I will be pleasantly surprised in the next couple weeks to go against such harsh comments.
